Nice tires, but please buy something American made if they're not? Surprisingly, some of those "foreign" tires are made over here, but I don't know about Toyo's.

I'm running Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's.

there supposed to be a great tire, alot of people are running them around here, my best friend is running 35's on his f-150, they are great off-road and just a pretty typical m/t on road, they are siped so that helps with the rain/snow/ice factor, id like to get a set but they are damn expensive, did i menthion that they look great!!!

No kidding, how about keeping the politically skewed opinions on consumer products elsewhere. He didn't ask if he would be helping with feeding the poor or maybe helping North Korea get one step closer to global domination, just opinions on the tires.

And the owner of the little grocery store I go to all the time had them put on his new 2500HD. Tires look great, he said they aren't horribly noisy, and they get him to the deer stand fine.

Not politically skewed. You want to have a job don't you? You want a robust economy don't you? It's not POLITICS -- IT'S COMMON SENSE.

When you support American manufacturing you support America. You can complain, whine, posture, accuse or whatever you like -- but it doesn't change the FACT.

And I'll continue to add these comments where foreign products are asked about. It doesn't create a problem until YOU guys make a fuss about it, probably because you actually feel guilty about it. But hey, maybe I'll keep the PSYCHOLOGICAL stuff out of it, eh?

John i like you alot but your getting to like a "jehovah witness" level about this stuff.... its american land of the free, anyone can buy anything they like...

do you own a toaster or like coffie pot in your house John? bet $10 its made in some foreign country. these LED's you use all the time are they made in the USA? probly not... your $20 Big Lots pair of fog lights on the front where are they made john? probly not usa... sadly you say you dont need KC's your $20 Jap pair are good atleast mine are a USA product....

what my point is i bet there is tons of things you own and have bought that arnt USA made and you say to guys on here BUY USA MADE but yet you arnt perfect eather...

once agian its people's $ if the guy wants Toyo tires he can buy them... its his choice hell i think there kick *** if i had a vehical that required them i would buy them.. hell i was looking at the Nitto A/T but went back to BFG cause i like it more and it was cheaper..

Ha ha! I say again: it ain't political. Listen, me and another guy will show up at your house in black suits with the "Watchpower" magazine (detailing the good news of American industry) and have a commodity study with you.

It's important guys -- whether you like it or not. Without a solid American industrial base we are at the mercy of foreign interests -- simple self-defense says to keep the industrial base SOLID. You don't do that by buying Japanese tires.

But I'm done -- be as carefree and as ignorant of the reality of this as you please. I'll just pop in and remind you once in awhile because it really is incredibly amusing to see how worked up you get. You wouldn't even react so much if you weren't actually, at your core, thinking I'm right...

Toyo just opened a huge tire plant in Georgia or somewhere in the south so most of those tires are made in America.

then again America is going to lose the factory producing industry, we need to invest in technology and medicine those would be things we could be better at and still keep the economy up

they are good tires, but pro-comp and bfg are still cheaper and i HEAR much better

the only thing is you won't find M/T's in the 11.50 size...the smallest 33's they make are 13.50's...

that is if you're runnin 15 inch rims...if you're running 16 inches you're golden

I agree, just because it's made in the USA, doesn't mean it good or better then anything else......despite popular belief.

I'd have to say that a lot of the "blame" if you will could be squarely placed on the shoulders of people in my generation. Like Zach and others, I'm guessing you guys are in your 20's probably DON'T have a "career" job at the moment and probably think you never WILL have a job like your parents had so "Hey what the hell do I care if ain't made in America, everythings made in China anyway!!!"

Well that kind of mentality doesn't help, I fully support Griggs on this NON-POLITICAL, NON-PARTISAN issue.

What John is trying to instill in "all" of us is a sense of pride and nationalism, which by the way the Chinese are doing too, because they want to take over as Number 1 in the world economically speaking!

So if you're shopping for tires and you see Brand X Y Z at the tire store and they are ALL EQUAL but brand Z is made in China or somewhere else...buy brand X or Y instead!

I'm from Ohio and I can't even put into words how proud I am of living in this great state when I walk around the hardware store and look at how many things are made RIGHT HERE in OHIO! I want to keep it that way so dammit I'll pay and extra $.50 or $3 for MORE than likely a better product ANYWAY.

as much as i agree with you i dont, its so hard to support america when so much is not made here, hell half of the companys that are here have places oversees that produce there products cause its cheaper.....whether toyo m/t's are made here or there, they are a proven good *** tire and thats all that schould matter......not trying to make this a big thing but its the truth.....

i dont care if i have a "career" job or not i will buy what i damn please when i want it and really dont give a rats *** where its made... thus america...

and if i am in the tire store and there is X Y Z ....um i buy what ever i want where its made doesnt affect my choice. My choice is effected at how well it works and how well i like the design...

oh and btw i am hopping your not talking about the hardware store called Craftsman..cause there all made in CHINA now...have fun with that... hell i never bought Craftsman anyways i am a Snap on guy.......

but what ever... personally i think you all preaching buy what i tell you is just as bad as the "jehovah witness" preaching me there religion... i dont care for it..

if you have the $ buy what you want when you want how ever you want...

oh and btw my GF will be buying a Honda for a car...you know why i trust her being in one more then a Ford CAR....

i hope you did get them, they are a very nice tire, made by some country that can obvious make what people want, and last for a long time. yea they are a lil pricey, but your paying for a great tire.
