Staggered Backspacing

Sort of thinking out loud about this. But a friend of mine just bought a dirt track car and it came with 15 steelies. They are all 15x8s but but have backspacing ranging from 2-4 inches. He doesn't want to keep all of them so I was thinking about picking a set up. My question is, could I run a staggered offset setup? For example 3 inch bs in the rear and 4 in the front. The tire size would be the same on all 4 wheels. I know I obviously wouldn't be able to rotate them but that would't be a huge issue. I've seen people run spacers on only the rear so I would think it would be the same concept??

Again just sort of thinking out loud here.

Let me know your thoughts on it.

I guess it could be useful if you were running one of the prerunner type lifts up front that move your front wheels out, and wanted the ones in the back to be even with them. That way your front tires aren't sticking out 2 inches (or however much) further than the back.
