Removed clearcoat and polished Alcoas

Picked up these Alcoas a while back. Got some Busch clearcoat remover and 00 steel wool. Finished up with a Mothers power cone and aluminum polish. Not perfect, but cleaned up good.

The one on the left is still clear coated.

Thanks Kris.Having trouble getting the full-size picture to load. All that comes up is the thumbnail.

Sure the picture dimensions aren't small on your computer too?

You must have looked at the thumbnail. I didn't mess with them. Just inserted the pictures in the actual thread.

The thumbnails have been removed.

Looks great dude. I Wish my alcoas look brand new again. One or two of them are scuffed up and nicked due to rocks and stuff. :-( Sometimes I wish I had different wheels I could use when I go off road. :-(

Used the busch clear coat remover, and mothers aluminum polish. Took a little work to get all the clear coat off.

I like the look of the polished ones, but if i ever got a set i'd have to keep the clear coat on, just because i'd be paranoid of the michigan winter really messing them up.
