Pro Comp radial a/t or bfg a/t ko?

I have bfg a/t ko's on my truck now and love them. Hardly any road noise at all and they hook well in every condition. I don't do any mudding, just trailing and duning and this is my daily driver so those factors keep me from getting a mud terrain.

Anyone run the pro comps? Have any pros or cons to them vs. the bfgs?

4wheelparts has a $100 instant rebate on 35" pro comps so they are about $70 cheaper than the bfg's. Money isn't an issue but I wouldn't mind saving $70 to put towards something else. :P

Anyways, let me know if you have experience with these tires and what you'd recommend. Thanks.

If you like your current BFG A/T's, than... "If it ain't broke, why fix it?". I am a die hard believer in BFG A/T's..

stay with the BFG! way better tire than the PRO COMP. The BFG is a great tire and has been tested in every condition and I THINK its a superior tire than the PRO COMPS...

i ran the BFG and i loved em! they last way longer also!

thanks for all the info guys. much appreciated.

the reason for this thread is because i'll be needing new tires within the next coming months and i was just seeing if maybe the procomps were superior to the bfgs as far as quality, road noise, tread wear and all terrain grip.

ProComp is garbage as far as performance, at least from what i have seen/ experienced. I don't like my BFGs either though, they wont stay balanced at all. My old Baja Claws rode better than the BFG A/Ts.

Regardless... BFG>ProComp

I'd go with BFGs...

my gf had a '03 F150 2wd v6 with 3"BL and 33s...first she had pro-comps, then got in a wreck (got sideswiped), and insurance got her 33" BFGs...she claims the pro-comps were "so much better, and BFGs suck" but I drove the truck with both tires, and the ride was better with the BFGs, and they wore less quickly than the P-Cs...

Maybe because tires are one of the most important factors of vehicles that roll on them?

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Guess I'll stick to bfgs. :)

My dad had Cooper S/t's on his truck and I have them on my truck. Good tires, reasonably priced, good traction, good wear, and actually clean out in mud. I'm a fan, they have gotten me through a lot of stuff. Pretty tough tires too, no problems with sidewall cuts, even after tons of tire spinning in rocky places, although they do chunk on the edges off road, but not any worse than BFG A/T's.

With that being said, I will be going with BFG's next, but only because I want 33-10.5 KM2's *Drool*

If you like BFG A/T look at General Grabber AT2's. They look 99% like BFG's and mine have never let me down in the mountains.
