Need Tire Suggestions!

Alright so a little bit different tire question, I want to run a 31 inch tire on a 15 inch rim, but I want something wide with lots of traction. My truck is mainly street and had trouble holding traction before I decided to do a HCI combo. I was going to run the ProComp AT in a 31x12.5R15 in the rear with a 31x10.5R15 in the front but they discontinued that size...

So does anyone have any suggestions of any other tires in that size range? I want something street or AT style, no muds.

FYI I currently have Goodyear 31x10.5R15 Silent Armors, and previously had Toyo Open Country in the same size. They are decent but I would really like something wider without getting any taller.

I absolutely love the Nitto Terra Grappler, but it doesn't come in a 15" rim.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I checked both of those tires but they only have them in a 10.5 width.

The only thing I could find in a 31 that is wider than 10.5 and is considered an AT:
TRXUS STS 31x11.5 -- TrXus STS | Interco Tire
I have no idea if they are good tires or not though.. I was just looking for the tire size.

But if you go with a 32" tire, there are tons of options in 32x11.5...

Thanks for finding that Truxus tire, was looking on their site but missed that size. I contacted Pro Comp and they said their are not more 12.5 wides left in the US... bummer I was hoping I might be able to find some on the shelf.

Well Since I can't seem to find a tire that has the wider size I am looking for, i'm kinda looking for a sport truck tire. Something meant for the street and has a nice looking tread pattern. I really want something that looks great and performs well on dry pavement. Need to get more power to the ground on the street. Here are a couple of the wheels I am interested in. If you guys have any expierence with any of them let me know!

Falken Ziex S/TZ

Nitto Dune Grappler

General UHP

Zach I checked out the Cooper LTZ, awesome looking tire, but nothing in a 15" rim. If I bump up to a 16" rim i have some more oprtions in a 265/70R16 but I really like my rims. And if I got to a 20" rim there are lots of choices in my size range but I think that's way to much rim for me.

Rob, I can get you the Pro-Comp 31x12.50's for $160/tire, the warehouse i deal with still has 4 of them. It will take 5 to 7 days to get them

Well Justin did alot of work to find a set for me from a local place but the company sent the wrong tires, and now the tires I was supposed to get are gone, so I'm still looking if anyone has any other suggestions.

At the moment i'm considering going with the General UHP. I read alot of reviews for them on tirerack and they are all pretty good, sounds like what i'm looking for. What i'm really hung up on is the size. They have a 265/70R15 but i'm worried it will be two small at an inch shorter in diameter than my 31's. They do have a 265/70R16 but I would have to find new rims.

What do you guys think about running a 265/70R15???
