I paid about $750 for mine.

That included mount, balance, warranty& lifetime rotations, new stems, disposal fee for old tires.

I went the tall narrow route because on an unlifted truck clearance under the diffs was the most important thing to me.

Nah, that 35 comment is more for Jeeps that have the 35 in the rear, guys destroy those all the time.

The Ranger weakness is the rear shafts (the "normal" 28 spline POS)...They will blow before the front...beleive me, I know all about that crap and I only had 32s at the time....

nnooooo you bastard! Lock the 28 and watch it explode!!!

Anyways, I thought the 31 splines were stronger than the 9 inch. Either the casting was weaker or the 9 is 30? Eh, doesn't matter. They're both tough

and i said why would i do that when i could just spend the money and lock the 9 inch.

9 inch rear ends are usually 31 splines (BB ones do). the reason why they are better is because the size and contact pattern of the ring and pinion. and with the right casing they are convertable to 35 spline.

You can get 9" fronts from Currie with F450/D60 parts and a 9" rear with 35 spline axles... and ARB lockers front and rear.

Not quite so random....

Personally I like the "Expedition Vehicle" look with the 32s-33s with 10.5-11.50 widths... but any bigger and the tire NEEDS to be wider.

When I was up in FBNX one guy ran with these 35xnarrow *** tires. This was in -30 degrees and he could really dig in the snow well. Big wide tires just slip.

Well... I've never lived above the Mason-Dixon line...lol. I've seen snow like 2 or 3 times in my whole life and I hate it.

WTF you hate snow? Loser. That's pretty gay you've never gotten to drive in snow. It's where everyone turns into idiots. and snowballs. And snowboarding. All sorts of stuff man!

I got my seven 33x10.5 BFG MTs for $153 each I think, balanced with a hazzard warrenty from BJ Wholesale Club. Not sure if you have those around you though... I don't think they look like pizza cutters at all? But I'm probably biased.
