Mickey Thompsons. Possible clearance issues?
Hey boys.
Got a question regarding clearance issues. Or, possible clearance issues...
I've got some Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTX Tires (35x12.50R15LT M+S) mounted on 8 Spoke Allied Wheel Company Wheels (15x8 15x4.5). I just installed fender flares and plan on doin' a 3.5inch spindle lift up front (dur da dur!) and a 3inch leaf (or other) lift in the back. Will this clear? If not, I'll just do a Body Lift to add to the height.
Also... How high can I lift it without having to replace brake lines? (How much do those run?)
Thanks fellas.

no and no...
no.. you cant fit 35's with just a spindle and flares, you will need a body lift...
and
no... you dont need to get new brake lines. if you plan on really flexing the truck out should you get new one's sure it would be nice...
and do AAL and shackles for the rear... or get the i beleave skyjacker lift leaf pack... your choice

On and Edge model like mine, which is lifted from the factory, just spindles will get you enough clearance.
But on a 4x2 non-Edge model like yours, I have to agree that you will need the body lift as well, or a more extreme suspension lift to begin with.
Not sure on your vehicle how far you can manipulate the brake lines.
