Okay, tires came in THIS MORNING AT 10:30 AM! Man, I didn't even order them until Wed. afternoon. From time of order to time of arrival was less than 48 hours and they charged me a total of $38 for shipping/handling for ALL FOUR tires. Outstanding!

They're over at the local tire guy getting put on. He's the local Mickey Thompson dealer, but he's never seen these in person yet. I didn't buy from him so I at least paid him to mount/balance. Dyna Beads could be in tomorrow and if the rains not too bad I'll put them in as well...and wait forever for my tires to fill again with my pump, lol.

These tires where my second choice if I was unable to get my Coopers. I'm sure you'll love em. Can't wait to see them mounted up.

Just got back with the new tires on -- such a nice ride on new tires. Hoping the Dyna Beads will help keep it smooth.

They balance it with stickon weights inside the back of the rim, so you see no weights at all. Looks nice and the weights are back from the edge so they won't pull off easily. Should make the Dyna Beads job a bit easier.

Forgot to bring my good camera, should I just use my phone camera to show something now???

Ha ha! Well, the pics suck from my cellphone but that's all I have until tomorrow. Here they are for what they are worth...

Tires in the bed pic is of the old tires on the back of the truck. They're chained in there. Same way I got the new ones to the tire shop.

EDIT: Reprocessed the pics to make the tire details more visible.

I'll get better pics tomorrow. The voids in the tread are bigger than they look. I'll take a picture with my hand for scale tomorrow also. But thanks -- I like them.

First report: it's raining cats and dogs and I had to do about 30 miles tonight in it. They are AWESOME in the rain. Stick to the road like an AT tread. Very refreshing after "slip sliding away" on my unsiped rear mud terrains for the past year.

I definitely like them.

I used the beads, I loved them!!!

I got my tires like 95% perfectly balanced. I think I'm going to use both again. I have a tiny bit of vibration right now...

I highly reccomend them. I ran them on a rim/tire combo that called for 19oz of weight (extremely messed up) and it was an OK ride. Not caddilac, but not like an egg. So with wheel weights and beads, it ends up being pretty nice.

Good to hear an additonal testimony! They should be in today.

The shop did a good balance job though, I was doing 80 on the interstated this morning and all the way up and all the way down no vibrations or shimmy. Very smooth overall. The beads may not help it so much right now, but as they wear it'll keep it nice -- at least that's my hope.

Thats what I'm hoping for.
