i know it has been descused but i want ur opinion.

i have a 2002 ford ranger xlt off road ,step side i have cranked the t-bars.....should i go with 285/75/r16? what do u guys think?? let me know

265s IMO 285s are too big. unless you are planning on lifting within the next year then do 285s

285/75/16 is almost a 33x11.25 i think thats pushing it. i know someone with 33x10.50 and only a little crank on the t-bars and they have a little bit of rubbing.

Just and FYI the difference in price in some tires 285/75/16 and 33x10.5x15 you can almost buy a set of 15 inch wheels.

since you have 16s got with a 275/70R16
32.2" by 11.5"

zero rubbing, they are quite large, and look sexy

275x70x16 is a 31.16x10.83x16.....

personally the 285x75x16 fit fine i would do it...

oh Zach now ya finally say 285s fit, before ya said they wont...

STOCK with 285/75/16s on a 4wd Edge (i know not a step side). never seen if u were 2wd or 4wd...

im pretty sure zach always thought 285s would fit. but just becasue they fit dont mean they work well. i perosnally like a little gap in the fender.

mines like sarahs except I think mine are cranked, hers are not. My new train of thought is get the body lift, skip the crank. You'll have close to the same money either way if you lift the rear and get an alignment(assuming all the labor is done on your own):
