Eagle Alloys

Hey guys I was just at a tire shop down here and they are clearing out a set of Eagle Alloys. The person there said they are 15x8 and the right bolt pattern of the truck and everything. Just wondering what backspacing's will fit and if anybody has any experience with these rims. I am picking them up Monday. $200 Canadian for the set.

I was just on the aewheel website and the 15x8 is a 3 1/4" backspacing. Will that fit?

Well i dont mind if they dont come out to far. I dont know how strict the police are around here with wheels past the fenders and stuff. I just want to make sure I am not going to have any fitment problems.

Btw will stock Goodyears fit on this rim? Or do I have to wait until I buy new tires?

well thats probably the exact rim that I will be getting. I am going tomorrow morning to pick them up so I just dont want to have any problems so I am making sure. So the rim will fit on my truck I just have to be weary of which tires I get so that I can prevent rubbing??

Justin you have a lift and you still rub? Is that caused by the backspacing or just a tire to big?

what would be the difference between a 15x8 and a 15x7. When I called in yesterday to make sure he said its a 15 inch rim and I asked 15x8 and he said yes. I know he didnt have them there because he said to come Monday to pick them up. Just want to prepare myself for different scenerios and not make an uneducated decesion when im there.

its can go either way...if i had different backspacing it wouldnt rub, if i had a different tire size it would rub...15x7 is what you have on there now, but i would go with an 8 since you dont want a tire too wide for the wheel...

cool man sounds good.. i know the eagle alloy rim only comes with that size backspacing. I may have to go with the 31" tire when im ready to buy.. do you know if the stock tires i have on there now will fit on the 15x8 rim?

You can run stock tires on a 15x8 rim I had my stock goodyears switched over to my rims and I am still running stock tire size on them, but they are BFG's. I haven't had any problems in 25,000-30,000 miles between the two different kind of tires. So go ahead and put your stock tires on 'em.

You should be fine.

I have eagle alloys on my FX4.
15X8 with 3.25" back space.
I have the stock 31X10.5's on there.

They don't stick out. They are almost even with the fender flares. They have the perfect look IMHO.

they rubbed slightly on the stock mud flaps when I put them on at full turn, but; a slight bend with my hand of the little bracket on the mud flap cured that.

They don't rub anywhere else with the 31's.

You'll be happy!!

well I just picked them up and im pretty happy with them considering the price... They werent in boxes buy they were never used.. 2 of them were a display wheel so they had tires mounted on them at some point but were never on a vehicle...

They have a shine to them but they are in need of a good polish.. there are some marks and stuff on them.. nothing major.. i just finished polishing one up and it looks great.. i will have pictures tonight of the 4 rims..

i didnt mount them on my truck yet.. i wanted to get them all polished up beforehand.
