your question is too broad.
What kind of tires? Street or off-road
What size?

BF Goodrich make s a great all around tire and they wear well.

The only problem with BFG is they do not make a 16” tire that is load rated for a Ranger, why is that ?

I am looking at General Tire next, 16”. load range “C” and a tread pattern that looks OK.

Main issue is the 16" sizes are popular on one tons, so all the tires are going to be D or E rated. D rides alright, but E feels like **** on a ranger. 265/75r16 bfg a/t are D rated, so that's one option.

mmm. cannot say about car tires. Never had a car in my life, my first ride was a pickup truck and hope my last one could be a pickup truck too.
