Do Terra's really suck in the mud though? I've never had mine in any kind of deep mud.

He actually never even mentioned what kind of tire he was looking for. He just started posting pictures of mud terrains.

actually im looking for an all around good tire that has the agressive look to them. i looked at the terra but i do plan on doing some off roading but they dont have to be nubby's but the terra wont work for me any more.

i think the mudstars r to nubby for the amout of highway i drive. i think im gonna rock the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71

has anyone got opinions bout the terra grappler? ive heard several people say they suck off road just look good jumping curbs and speed bumps. these people also go belly deep in mud so maybe the terra is a good tire for moderate to light offroad just no ***** to the wall.

I love my Terra Grapplers. I've had them in everything except sand and they did good. I don't do any super deep mudding but I've had them in some fairly deep stuff and they did pretty good. Now is there a better tire out there? Yea probably. But for their price they're hard to beat. That's just my opinion. Maybe I'm a little bias though?

Im runnin procomp mt's, not the best tire but theyre great offroad, look like the old bfg mts and they wear descently, I drive alot though so they wear alot for me, like lost a quarter of tread in a year but I also put like 10-15k miles on the truck a year

You say you cant afford rims. but you want to powder coat. Powder coating is $150 on the low end and around $300 on the high end.

here a thought too. check Craigslist. My wheels where $125 some wet sanding and polishing they look lik new you might find something local used

5x4.5 15x10 classic II wheels here are 15x10 for $200 , hell i would go get these right now myself if it wasnt in ohio

Jeep Parts & Tires For Sale here 15x10 for $350 OBO so prob get around 300-250 looks like a TJ they are mounted too so 5x4.5 bolt pattern...

new ion wheels 15x10, 5 on 4.5 Brand new in box set for $375 might be able to get lower

BTW I did check for 15x8 also and didnt find any but a few steel wheels that are junk. this help? plus if your gonna body lift might as well run some 33's and 15" wheels will cut the cost down on them.

i worked with a guy that does powder coating and he usually charges $25 a rim and he said he would cut me a deal of that price. he orders black by the bulk and allways have extra. so its $100 at the most to powder coat my rims
