contact patch has nothing to do when ur trying to slow down and stop heavier tires.
be weary of accelerate ball joint and general front end wear with a t-bar crank.
i feel ur pain though, cant decide what size rubber to run on sarahs truck. 32? 33s? 10.50? 11.50? 12.50? lift it? t-bar crank it? aaahhh
but yes, BFG ATs do last unless u like to do burn outs and off-road the hell out of them. mine lasted around 20,000 miles with the rear being 1/8 tread left and the front with 3/8 tread.
dad had a set and got 50,000 or so miles but remember im talking about fullsize f150s and not a ranger so ur milage should be better. he just got new meats put on and makes me regret gettin the mudders some time

LIL BLUE has BFG 33 MT, they do not rub and the t-bars were never adjusted
nothing like stiffer torsion bars right out of the factory
woops... I could have had a Level II
get the 285 or 33 inch tires
worst case you have to trim a bit and crank the torsions
it's not as if it has not been done 100 times before
