my set is real quiet on the road. great manners too, much better in the rain than the old mud terrains.

I love mine! Great all around tire. They are wearing awesome, and are an excellent off road tire when aired down to 12-13psi. I am very very happy with them!

the bfg km2s are just the best all around off road tires on the market today. i had them on my ranger and now have them on my samurai. they grip better then most other tires in the mud. because they are designed from the krawlers design they are awsome for rock climbing. bfgoodrich also improved the rubber compound that is supposed to have an anti chunking agent. i work at costco in the tire shop an i cant tell you how many people come in to get km2s to replace swampers, pitbullz, mickey thompsons, heck you name it. so i would go with these tires. you would be glad you did

By the sound of it, the km2 are a better buy... hard to tell though.. Saw one guy in this thread that said he's had em for a year?? and has 95% tread.. but I don't know how many km he drives... I've had my MTZ on for the last year, i've lost maybe around half the tread, but I've put 45000km on them almost.
They were great in the snow, not as good this year with the tread wear... road manners aren't bad, but not as good as the km2's by the sound of it.. after about half a year they really started humming. They were pretty damn good in the wet as well last spring, again, not quite as good this year.
