anyone running Super Swamper TSL bias tires?

hey was thinking of running these tires eventually with a 3 inch BL. nothing big prolly just 33's.

but i wondering about wear on the road, how they handle etc.. i was looking on 4wheelonline.com and they have 31x10.5x15 and 33x12.50x15... i wouldnt mind getting 33's but i only have a 15x7 rim and i dont wanna buy new rims. the other option is finding some expo rims that are wider than 7 inches.. idk..

If you like it rough and loud then swampers are for you, but if your more of a smooth quiet person, then get a all terrain or a on road mud terrain

thats it loud and rough? thats not too bad.. i hate all terrains and i want something more agressive than the mud terrains..

i dont do a lot of city/town driving anyways.. i live out in the country (20kms from the nearest town) and there's no smooth roads around here..

also im assuming thats its not a good idea to put a 12.5 tire on a 7" rim??

It's been done. On a tire like that I wouldn't do it, but with like an A/T I would.

It's all in what you can deal with. I've run Bias TSL's and LTB's on DD's without any issues but they are louder and rougher than MTs. I personally like bias better than radials in Swamper style tread as they will smooth out more when they heat up. I had a set of SSR's on my last DD and they were awesome for the first 15k or so miles and then got real rough, worse than my previous bias tires. The bias though will rattle your teeth the first few miles when cold where the radials are pretty consistant. Biggest downfall IMO is treadwear even with 5k mile rotations your looking 20-30k miles max depending on which tire. I'm thinking my next one is going to be the new M16 Swamper if I don't like it I'll prolly go back to the LTB.

I had them(33x13.5) on a fullsize Ram and still got about 20k out of them being rough....spinning, taking corners fast etc. also had a Detroit locker in the back. I'd expect over 25k on a Ranger. I have found out though a lot of wear is dependant on your local road surface too.
