39.5 super swamper truxus STS
i was thinking about getting 36/13.50/15 Iroks radials for my truck and i got a price on them and it was $1220. I was looking around and i can get a deal on a set of 39.5/15/15 from a guy i know for $800 or probally cheaper ,but i was wondering if they ride good. I was also worried about if they would fit i know the guy with the red ranger that used to have the 39.5 tsl had the same lift but he didn't have fender flares. also i was wondering if they would look right on 15x8 rims because i am not wanting to get new rims

And I believe at some point he eventually broke a spindle, just to warn you.

I would say get 36's and call it a day, I want 36's so LMK how they do and ride. I mean, I want a regular mud terrain, but for the same price I could have a super swamper...

Are you going to move to a 10~12" wide wheel since they are 15" wide tires?

Hey TrXus STS tires are very nice, and VERY GOOD offroad. My friend had a dodge 1500 with 33 inch trxus and I promise you he could offroad better than anybody on this site. Those tires performed very well in any condition.
I can't find any other pics than this on his myspace...but he had them really wide and his truck was unstoppable.

He has a shorter wheel base than you dude. You couldn't crest hills that we could drive though.
But you have much bigger tires. I'm not really interested in your ford, I'm on a Ranger website, and I generally mean us rangers.

STS's are probably worst next to the BFG A/T's for mud.
I've seen rob's truck in the mud personally...it's no slow poke thats for sure. He's got plenty of power to turn those 40's and plenty of tread to sling the mud. It gets down and freaking dirty!!!

Esp with those low gear ratio's and some of the tires I've seen used. Anything short of a bogger in the mud basically cakes up. Tractor tires are optimal, but they would either have to be put on at the mud hole or have the truck trailered in.
