35s vs 37s: Gearing? Will wheeling 37s destroy everything?
Hi all,
First day on the forum. Just bought an '09 ranger and my first order of business is new wheels. Full disclosure, I don't know anything about trucks. After scanning the forums it seems like 37s might be OK with sas but I'm looking for any thoughts or advice on running 37s with the current setup below.
Description of the truck from the ad:
Lifted on 35s with a Dana 30 in the front from a 04 Jeep Cherokee. Newer headers. Front leaf springs. Pro comp front shocks. Rear shocks relocated with piggy back springs. 4.56 gears and chromoly front axle shafts. Welded rear diff.
Couple options I've been looking at are 35x12.5R15 KO2s on 15x8s or 37x13.5R17 AT3s on 17x9s.
Thanks in advance.
Kevin
