15x8 vs 15x10 for 33x12.50R15

Ok so I've decied to go 3" BL and 33x12.50R15 BFG KM2's. Just trying to figure out if I should go 15x8 with 3.75" back space and -19mm offset or 15x10 with 3.62" back space and -46mm offset.

I dont want the tires sticking way out but dont want them looking like pizza cutters either. Thanks for any opinions and any pictures would be awesome too.

Truck is a 2005 extra cab 4x4 Edge.

Thanks

Geez, how many times can this question come up? Seriously, there are a ton of these threads man.

15x8 with 3.75" backspacing, 33x12.50R15's on a 3" body lift. These will fit better than the 15x10, as the 10" wheel will increase the scrub radius (the tire moves front and back more when the wheel is turns), and often cause rubbing on the valance and/or back of the fender opening.
I know I have better pictures but this is what I could find at the moment.

Some do, some don't. I have known several who do.
I'm not talking about cranking up the torsion bars and driving on the street, I'm talking about disconnecting the sway bars and using the full travel of the suspension. I had the sway bars disconnected on my ranger probably 90% of the time, and the lower control arms always had nice shiny spots from the bump stops from wheeling. Never could get them to rub, even with the plastic mudflaps on there.
Either should work for most people though, just depends on what a person likes.

i've been at the dunes with it air born its rubbed top of fender but that has nothing to do with the wheels.

I dont disconnect the sway bar at dunes rather not do that it still handles fine lol...

Guess what Brain, this topic will continue to come up.... FOREVER.

I would get 15x8. I personally dont like the way a 10in rim looks on a Ranger.

31X9.50R15 on 7.75 rims it sticks out at the tread but kinda hides the rim.

10" wheels I think look better because of offset and them sticking out more, but I think with 8" the tires look good too since the sidewall is more rounded and tougher looking.

15x10's are too wide on Rangers. 15x8's ftw

I run 15x8's on my ranger but I prefer to run 15x10's. It is all about personal preferance.

its personal preferance. i have 33"x 12.5" on 8 inch rims, i like the look of them better than a 10 inch wide rim. they still stick outside the wheel wells plenty. i would just check out pics of both and choose the size you like the looks of the best.

personally I like my 15x10 for the type of wheeling i do in the sand the wider it is the better. if i wasnt in sand i might go back to 15x8 maybe doubt it tho. 33x12.50 dont wear prefect on them wears more in the center

Thanks for the Photos guys !!! Exactly what I was looking for. I tried to search but didnt find side by side pictures of what I was looking for exactly.
Those pictures of stones truck I can hardly tell the difference, just barley in the sidewall. Makes me want to go witht he 15x8.
But then Chads02 looks awesome witht he 15x10's!!! i think it may just be those tires though. I think the toyos tend to be more squared off. Looks really good though.

If anyone has anymore pictures post them up !!

And thanks again !!

its in the angle... 15x8 was the same width as my running boards kinda in a little 15x10 are outside the running board...

believe me there is a difference LOL

Came out a looong time ago my friend. I think I went through two sets of tires on my ranger since that size had come out, because I remember wanting to buy them in a 33x12.50R15 and all they had was the 33x13.50.

Appearance wise I like the 15x8 better... I have 33x12.5 on 15x8... it took some convincing at first but I went with it and now I'm happy I did... I just like what the skinnier wheel does to the look of the tire.
