Richard, i don't htink your an idiot...i think steve just doesn't know what he's talking about. I know plenty of people that are in the industry that have no idea what they are talking about.....alot out there believe it or not. I've heard "there's no such thing as a 2wd ford ranger with torsion bars."

I didn't know I would be posting the question that would lead to the destruction of ranger forums, but I do appreciate the info... would I be better off doing some other form of lift or is this a good base to start from?? and at what point do you have to start getting things recalobrated?? I'm now interested to see what you guys come up with on this whole spindle issue...lol..

I ran that set-up, but I had glass fenders in the front.
EDIT I just read the whole thread: I don't know how you figure there's a 5.5 Edge kit, there's NO way to produce that kit and even if they did, no one would buy it because of how expenisve it would be.
I would just give up the fight and agree that you're wrong rather than keep going on and on about something that will never exist. It's going to kick you in the butt in the long run. You're talking to guys who love to mod their trucks and have been around Rangers since they've came out and know every product that every company makes. You can't fool us.

I just called "Steves" and "Steve" said, that you have to buy the 3.5" Fabtech kit for the tb Rangers and then buy some kind of aftermarket upper a-arm.
Basically he has no clue what he's talking about, he said that you have to "piece" the "kit" together, just a bunch of bs. Sorry man, but what he told you is wrong.
