Unloading Torsion Bar in the Air
2004, 4x4
So I am replacing a lot of my front end suspension components, currently I am trying to fit the nuckle back into the upper ball joint/control arm. The problem is that I have already removed the shock and the sway bar so the lower control arm is all the way down and I can’t get it to move up enough to meet the upper control arm. I’ve tried loosening the torsion bar key all the way and it’s still putting too much pressure down on the control arm. I’ve also tried jacking it up but it just lifts the truck off the jacks stands. I can’t seem to find a way to compress the suspension. Any tips?
