Trying To Decide Which Way To Go With My Truck!

Since its paid off and all I have extra money. I am thinking about SAS with a D44 and some 38's and some other off-road goodie's or I am thinking about doing a coil-over swap and dropping the **** out of it.

What do ya'll think I should do? Right now I am 50/50 but kinda leaning towards the SAS and getting another vehicle as a DD. If I am going to do the SAS I am going to start collecting parts as I find them and browsing Craigslist.

well do those are way different sides of the totem pole...will u be doing these for looks...or do u need an sfa for the offroading u do? im guessing not if ur even considering lowering it. if u dont offroad and ur doing it for looks just add a bl to what u got and run 37's and call it good. it will be cheaper and way easier.

Well I dont wheel it now cause I dont have another vehicle to drive if I **** it up. If I dropped it then it would be my DD and I would get something to wheel.

Holy chit! I think I am going to do it! $400 bucks then rims and tires and I can have it dropped pretty nice! Put some 04 cobra rims on there just like d's truck! I think I am going to do it. I really need to sleep on this.

God but I LOVE how big my truck is now. This is a TOUGH decision. I could always get a 01+ supercab and lift it though and SAS it.

you can always SAS this one and get a 4 banger ranger with coils and drop that and still get better gas mileage. then you'll have the best of both worlds

I say drop it. If you do the work and have all your stock stuff it won't cost a dime to get it back to stock. Find some Mustang wheels, then lower as needed. I'm only going 2" below stock, not a huge drop but 14" inches lower than what I was used to so it's enough for me. Definitely have to do coilovers cause you know those t-bar brakets are going to scrape with any decent drop on speed bumps and stuff. Plus 20+ mpg, more hp and torque to the road, better braking and handling........

Drop it like it's haaaWWT!

i agree with them all, and if you drop it and throw a BII bar on it, youll jizz in your pants when you go flying around a corner and twice the posted limit and it handles effortlessly
