T-bar crank, Leveling kit, or Body Lift???

So after searching the forums, I have just a few more questions. With a t-bar crank, it seems like you have a few alignment and wear issues. Plus, I have a 98 Ranger XLT 4x4, and some have said that a t-bar crank is not recommended because of the wear on the CV joints. So, then I thought of a leveling kit, which is basically a t-bar crank with added equipment. This kit is 200 bucks and it raises and levels the front end with the rear. Then I started hearing about body lifts and those are quite cheap. If I were to go with a body lift, it would be a 3 in lift.

Would I be wasting my money on a BL as opposed to getting a full suspension lift? Im on a budget, so what would look better and overall perform better? Thanks again guys, im still quite new to the whole suspension world!

a leveling kit is the same effect as cranking the T-bars.. just do turn them 3 times and you should be happy.. thats all i did

the leveling kits just allow you to put more preload on your torsion bars, they are pointless and will only cause front end parts to wear out faster, i also have a 98 4x4 and did an inch and a half torsion bar crank to level it out, alignment is now better, tire wear is better and even with some mild punishment nothing in the front end has worn out, a 3in body lift will cost about $190 and will give you clearance for up a 33x12.50 tire with no rubbing, right now you truck can fit a 31x10.5 easily and a lot people also run 32x11.50 with stock suspension and a slight torsion bar crank, what all are you looking to do with your truck, offroad or mall crawler? looking to just fit bigger tires and do you want more travel out of the suspension?

I had my T-bars at full crank(ride was rough and I don't recommend it) for a year and 10,000 miles and there is nothing wrong with my CV's. My tires wore perfect. If I were you I would crank them a little bit then get an alignment and tell them not to adjust the t-bars.

Yep just crank your Tbars
