reindexed torsion bar keys
i found these torsion bar keys on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWA%3AVRI
would installing these be the same as cranking up the torsion bars? and after installing these would you still have the 3" of adjustment? could you you install these and still crank your torsion bars up like another 1.5" or would that too much?
thanks

No. Bad! Terrible idea!
It is the same effect as having your bars cranked up, yes. I would NOT crank them up any more past that. That's just ASKING for **** to start falling apart. You'll tear your balljoints to pieces and get a terrible ride. Fact of the matter is that you just can't get that much out of torsion bars.

I was told they will let you get another 1.5 inches past fully cranking your T-bars. i don't have them but I have been thinking about it.
I have had my T-bars cranked up since July and I have not seen any major ball joint wear. I have not broken any CV's or axels or anything like that. The ride would not be super pleasent for a DD but its not terrible either.
