Long story short. Plz help

I got a 4 inch superlift installed. After the truck was sitting about two inches low in the front then the back. So after two weeks I got 2inch torsion keys and when they went to instal my torsion bars were slightly bent . So question is.... do I get the upgrades torsion bars and if so do I need new lower control arms???? Orrrrr go with a coil over and what does that Intail?

If you have bent torsion bars and are concerned with the cost of replacement lower control arms I would suggest trying to remove the torsion bars from the lower control arms before you order your parts.

You could have torsion bars that are stuck inside your control arms and you may need to replace them just to do the work you started off doing.

Generally when they get stuck it is because they were cranked all the way up and torsion bar rotates inside the bore of the control arm when going over rough terrain.

If the bars are rotated and possibly stuck it should be easy to spot since the flat spots on the arms will no longer line up with the flat spots on the torsion bars.

No matter which way you do this take your time and soak down the parts you are removing with penetrating oil.
