Limit Straps expected stretch ?

I would like to get some limit straps because after the flex yesterday it was cutting it pretty close with the brake lines..

I know how i can get my length but how much are they expected to stretch?

I know I have read after they have been stretched several times they will stay a bit longer, kinda like a break in. Maybe I'm wrong but any advice.

Thanks!

Call Polyperformance.com and they will be able to answer all your limit strap questions. They are really good guys, they also have their own limit straps.

I need to work on the back to make it flex like it should...

Besides length, the stretch also varies depending on whether they are 2-ply or 4-ply. I didn't think I could guess at it accurately enough so I used an adjustable clevis on each strap and made a frame bracket to accept it. The clevis ends are also sold by RedArt/Beard.

yeah i should prolly get the adjustable clevis, just be more work on the frame mount...

it allows 4.5" of adjustment too.
