Im hooked

After reading all the posts I could find on spindle lifts, Im hooked. I looked on a few different website at spindle lift for my 1996 ranger but couldnt find anything. Places like 4wheelparts.com had the tab for 83-newer tab with their spindle lifts but when I click on it I cant find anything for a ranger older than a 98. do spindle lifts only work on 98 and newer rangers and the tab is just mislabeled or am I missing somthing?

you dont have a spindle setup on your ranger. i believe you have i beams, so the suspension lift kit youll be looking to get most likely will consist of a set of drop-down brackets to lower the beams, and new springs and shocks for the front, and then blocks and new shocks for the rear.

YOU HAVE I-BEAM SUSPENSION NOT IFS like the newer trucks you have to use a drop brakets to lift the truck it drops your I-beam and radii's rod and also gives you longer coils. then you use like a AAL and 2" block in the back to lift it. too lift our gens over the newer one's its cheaper and quicker. go with like a rough country lift or something to that extant

http://rough.roughcountry.com/Ford_8...Ranger_4in.htm and

should take about one solid day to install from dawn to dusk but after your done DONT FORGET to get a wheel alignment which should run you around $100 so dont forget to factor that in. and with this you can run 32x11.5x15 on some 15x8 with like 3.25BS or 3.75BS with no rubbing. I beleave you can fit 33's on like a 15x8 with 3.75BS but am not 100% positive

and that link he posted up there is the same kit just on ebay...which isnt a bad deal

From: Coal Region, MTC to be exact...heart of the coal region.
if u go ahead and purchase the lift buy a 4 1/2 grinder and plenty of cut off wheels...rivets suck (i dont know when the cut off time for rivets was...my 1993 f150 didnt have any rivets on the axle drop brackets but others did...go figure)

Bent beams and Coil overs.=D An air chisel works great on the rivits if youre installing longer radius arms. Just dont forget the earplugs.

I saw the price and was shocked about how cheap it was. Anyone ever use one from them? kinda curious if it is lacking in quality or just parts or maybe its just a good deal
