Icon10 Fx4 Level 2 ride height?

I'm looking for anyone who knows the stock ride height adjustment for a 2004 Fx4 level 2. I've seen the schematic of what a 4x4 should be but I know that my truck was taller than a standard Fx4, Edge, etc... I found one thread that said it was an inch taller than the rest. Anyone know for a fact or can lead me in the right direction?

Thanks.

i think the reason why level 2's sit a bit higher is because they run a larger tire from the factory.

yep, they sit a little taller due to the 31s, also the rear end is something like 1/2in higher due the the larger diameter 31 spline axle housing. Other then that the frames and suspension components are exactly the same.

If it helps any, I measured my '07 Level II just before I put the Superlift on it. Front was 34" to the center of the wheel well above the tire and the rear was 35-3/4"

Yup, just the 31s on Alcoas opposed to the P2fhgsndgmsgsfR16s that the other 4x4s run.

Also the FX4s run the stiffest torsion and leaf spring sooooo they are less prone to suspension sag so over time they would maintain a higher ride height than a 4x4 with softer spring that may have sagged.

11KK means you have the heaviest bars/springs.

The stiffest leaf packs are C-code. These are found most often on Rangers with the optional "Payload Package 2". C's are also standard on Level II's.

Torsion bars
(code / combined rating / bar diameter)
1 / 2900 lb / 1.09"
B / 2710 lb / 1.06"
F / 2510 lb / 1.03"

Leaf springs
(code / combined rating / pack thickness at axle / number of leaves)
C / 2750 lb / 1.82" / 4
K / 2600 lb / 1.64" / 4
3 / 2550 lb / 1.60" / 4

Oops my bad, thought the heaviest ones were K's. I could have sworn the code on my door is 11KK.

Interesting. My codes is A3, 3 for the leaf springs and A for my coil springs (no torsions). My new Expo, leafs I have no idea about them.

And I am almost positive that all Level IIs came with the stiffest springs.
