Icon4 explorer leaf and chevy shackle question

i am in the process of putting urethane bushings in the explorer leaves

but my question is:::
if i switch to explorer leaf springs and use chevy c1500 lowering shackles ,,

i will gain some lift , but will the extra suspension travel cause my driveshaft to separate
or will it work out okay

( my experience is with jeep cj`s more than rangers )

thanks

It will be fine. You won't gain nearly enough travel to separate the driveshaft.

it turns out that the 1987 to 2010 ranger 2.5 inch leaf springs are all the same , inside eye diameter

i ordered the energy suspension 1`s
Energy Suspension 4-2134R - Energy Suspension Leaf Spring Bushing Sets - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Energy Suspension 4-2134G - Energy Suspension Leaf Spring Bushing Sets - Overview - SummitRacing.com

i ordered the black one`s because only the main spring eyes use the inside collar

the leaf and frame mounts just use the factory bolts
( make sure you use loctite on those bolts and do not overtighten them or you will damage the poly )
