Rebound, compression, and mount width
So I'm looking into the foa coilovers and I wanna know what other people went with for a 4x4 extended cab ranger that only gets driven on the road as far as compression valve, rebound valve and mount width. I was thinking medium/firm but I wanna get an idea of what would be best by hearing other people's testimonials. I know this thread is for the brackets but could anyone give me any pointers.

Dampers
So for the dampers on my Ranger I used the Bilstein all around. My FX4 is at stock height.
At the rear I fired F 150 5165 series.
At the front its the 8125 from the Motorsport catalogue. The shortest ones at 19 inch fit there out of the box. They are 1inch to long so the limit straps are needed. Coils are 2.5 x10
700 lbs. The damping is super nice. The balance between front and rear is excellent. The front dampers are not cheap but for real oversized off-road dampers it’s worth it.
And there a good bump stop on the rod. So no need to worry about that when you will cut the one from the frame.

Have you already purchased shocks? If not, purchase from Down South Motorsports in San Diego. They tune the shocks prior to shipping them out. I had it done on my Fox 2.0 shocks. Since I'm not sure what they feel like without the tune, I cant say it was an "improvement", however, they turned mine for mostly road/highway driving. Give them a call, highly recommend it. I found them through this thread, turns out they are down the street from me, which was convenient.
