I was going to say. I have 800 or 850 cant remember. I also have quite a bit of preload along with a 500lb plow hanging off the front all winter.

I have 20k on my setup so far with no tire wear or alignment issues

Damn. I wish I had $520 laying around for those fox shocks. I was looking at the Rancho RS999287. They are the 9000xl's with adjustability and 31.5" ext/18.5" collapsed. I would have to press out the bushings or atleast the sleeves to make them fit though. Decision decisions. Thanks for the find on those Fox's!

it is more than just shocks. the coils hold the weight, the shock dampens

I think he is talking about the Fox shocks I found him for the back. I have them in the 10 inch and they are sweet. I got all 4 of mine from down south motorsports and had them set them up for mostly off road. She is a little stiff on the street but it's a truck.

I like the Fox all the way around too. I couldn't hardly run crap in the back with the amount of money I put in the front. I was curious how yours held the plow all winter. When is the diesel going in?

Pricing:
Kit with powdercoated brackets: $290
Kit with raw brackets: $270

Shipping:
$17 US
$46 Canada

Kit includes:
4 brackets (2 upper, 2 lower)
4 gussets to reinforce shock tower
2 shock tower spacers for upper mounts
8 rod end spacers (for 1/2" wide rod ends--like Fox)
All hardware to install--grade 8 zinc plated

Stainless steel hardware is available for an additional $30

What else you will need:
2 coilover shocks
2 coil springs
2 limit straps and brackets

What you may need:
Bump stops if you are lifting your truck at the same time, but if you already have a Superlift, or if you are remaining at stock height, you can reuse what you have. You simply need to trim back the bracket on the frame where the bump stop mounts, so that the coilover will clear it. You then redrill a hole in the remaining part of the bracket and mount the bump stop further in.

To order:
1. Send payment to sbeau1 (at) metrocast (dot) net.
.......include in your instructions that it's for Ranger coilover brackets, if you want powdercoated or not, and your R-F user name
2. Post in this thread that you've sent payment.
3. check in on the thread for updates.
4. Post pics of your install!

I've been doing these made to order, but I had to change shops, and it's too expensive to have them coated 1 or 2 at a time, so with the last few orders, I had about 5 extra made. They'll be ready to ship sometime next week.

As always, email is the best way to get me.

No rush though. I know you typically wait until you have a couple orders in.
Thanks sooo much for continuing to make this conversion kit available for us all!! This is huge!!

Thanks man. It'll be a bit before I get them installed though. Next on the list is a superlift. I'd like to get the lift on this summer and then get some coilovers after that.

Yeah it's through paypal. All the payment info is in this thread. If you do a search you can find a lot of coilover installs.

Here's a good thread to look at: https://www.ranger-forums.com/genera...ed-etc-147622/

Coilover prices

just got off the phone the down south motors and they were very helpful finding the fox 2.0 coil overs with 5" travel. My only concern is the price. Has anyone found a cheaper alternative compared to the $700 shocks from dsm? He said he couldn't send me a link to the exact shocks due to the hardware they place on them being special. So I'm unable to search part numbers through other stores. Thank you all!

i bought mine from down south motor sports, fox 2.0 part number 980-02-040. their remote reservoir, 5 inch travel. I dont have a lift. I didnt get the coils from them. I bought eibach coils from summit racing. I dont think youre gonna find a place much if any cheeper thats gonna valve the shocks for ya and set them up the way u want. I think it was 600$ if i remember correctly. The rear fox shocks i bought from them are also remote res, part no. 980-02-032, 10 inch travel, 244$ a piece.
