Coilover Brackets by ME00stepside (NO LONGER AVAILABLE AS OF 7/23/2021)
#1051
I did it in 3 steps. First I installed the brackets and just the shocks. Then went to a friends to weld on the braces. Then home to install the coils modify the bumpstops and remove the torsion bars. Probably 6 hours or so of labor.
I ran into the same issue with the spacers and had to grind them down substantially to fit. I also had to clearance the bolt holes for the coil mounts do get the bolts to fit through.
It takes time and it depends on what road blocks you run into.

Everyone buying this kit needs to read this.
After looking at Morris's build the shock tower gussets provided in this kit are not long enough, the gussets need to run all the way to the frame.
Gussets only welded to the shock tower will not do anything, the point of tying it to the frame is to counteract the up and backward pushing of the coilover.
If you have already installed this kit take a look to make sure the gussets are going to the frame.

****Another member who bought the kit noted that the gussets are long enough, Morris's were just welded in the wrong place****

EDIT: I amended the previous statement about them being too short, they are in fact long enough, as long as you make sure when they are welded they go from the shock tower to the frame.

Ok, so reading through about 30+ of the 61 pages... I think stock height explorer (I have my tbars cranked 2-3 inches), that I will go with... Ughhh still confused haha. 650lb 10 inch, or 500lb 12 inch... Decisions Decisions...
When we have enough people I'll PM about payment. If I have to use a PayPal account I'm screwed. I can still make a payment by edit to a PayPal, but am not allowed to have myown PayPal only account. Long story... F PayPal..

Bilzy7 won't you get more travel out of the 10" since you're stock height? When compressed the spring would be shorter and on the shorter shock you would be using I would think the 12" spring compressed is longer and wouldn't allow you the travel the 10" would for your truck.
I don't know for certain that's just off the top of my head but its something to think about I guess.
