sorry for the crappy cell phone pics but my camera took a dump on me and the woman is out and she has her camera with her.
anyway, kinda ran out of time to get to the upper but heres the lower. i missed around with it so many times i lost track of time. i have a pic of what the rcd bracket looks like next to mine and youll see the difference. mine looks a bit more squared off instead of rounded corners. i didnt that on purpose to distinguish between the two and to avoid any copyright issues.. on to pics...
pretty much the only thing holding me back is a bit more info on how far apart i should put the tabs that the shock bolts to. i measured my fox shock with the misalignment spacers and its exactly 1-1/4". however, in the picture i have it at 1-1/2" to allow for extra room. the rcd brackets were 1-5/8" and i had to put two washer in there along with the misalignment spacers and STILL crank down on it a bit to get it tight enough. i would put it at 1-3/8" to fit the fox shocks but im not 100% that all the shocks + misalignment spacers are the same width apart. im working on grabbing that info right now.
tomorrow i will make the upper and post pics of that then ill put them on and go ride around. for those that arent sure how i weld, i put a couple pics in there if yall can manage to see it.

got to work on the upper mount today. got everything cut out and got one done(dont have pics of it right now). i am however kinda stumped on something that i fear is essential.
here are some pics real fast of just cut out pieces..
now, on the top of the upper mount, rcd includes this little guy...
for those that dont know, it acts as a spacer and a resizer. the hole for your normal shock is rather large. well, the bolt hole for the bracket uses a 1/2" bolt. this thing is beveled to fit in that hole just right and doesnt allow to bolt to move around. im not 100% sure how im going to make this, if im going to be able to. i may have to come up with some other idea in order to get around this. we will see though.
as for now, im running the lower bracket on my truck right now. going to see what i can come up with for that spacer thing and then go from there. should be ready to ship some out in a couple days for those ineterested.
