Does anyone have any closeup pictures of the way these are installed? I have a 2wd Edge and want to make sure they will fit before i order them.

i have an extra set, so let me know before you go and order them.

If you have a crossmember inbetween the frame rails up front, there will be 1 hole forward and two underneath where they would mount.

i have a 2002 2wd edge and i have tow hooks. wouldnt think you would have a problem. ash the picures show if you look in the slot there should be 2 sets of 3 holes. on each side one of them facing towards you and the other two down.

On my 04 2wd Edge, I don't have the holes for the tow hooks. Thats pretty common on the 04+ edges, you might be lucky though.

Here's a pic of the hooks that bolt into those holes......there's one bolt that threads in from the back horizontally, then two more that thread in from the top vertically...(bump for matt! 98-00 front hooks)

I just got my tow hooks from ebay today, and was wondering if anyone has used has anyone used locktite on the bolt for the tow hooks? Or do we even need to use them? The bolts i bought are M12X1.75.40 They arent the hex flanged type that the dealership has. They are just the zinc plated with a 8.8 stamped on the top of themand then i just boughtsome simple washers, and i assume the nut welded on the tow hooks is all you need.
