will my 2.3 turn 31s my brother gave me a set of 31x9.5x15 wide mudders will my truck even move with them on there.

 

yeah it will, it won't be like stock but it shouldn't be too bad

 

thats not too bad. I have driven 33x12.50s with stock 2.3 and stock 3.73s. Just gotta take it easy on clutch.

i know i do to the tires are nylon breaded and i need an alignment so i dont chew them up so i got to wait till i can get some time off work to go get it.

 

I had 31's on a 2.2L Mazda B2200. You felt the weight a little, but it wasn't terrible.

 

X2 had 31s for a month before they popped but I can't wait to get my new ones.

 

You'll be fine man. My 2.5L turns my 31's fine with the stock 3.73 gears just when I get in the deep stuff or try to climb a hill it would bog down real bad. So I am switching to 4.10.

Did you have Mud Kings before? Did you like them? I got Sport Kings right now.

 

Glad to see anoter guy from MS on here. The 2.3 will pull em jus fine. 4.10 gears is a nice upgrade but they can come later.

 

i liked them i got another set of mud kings that will come after these get bald 31x10.5x15 they were going on but couldnt pass up free tires i will try to get pics up tomorrow pay check was bigger then i thought it would be so tires will be on tomorrow. yea for sure later: gears, more lift, and bigger tires. and much much later plans are 302 and sas

 

You will have to re teach yourself on braking with them. Atleast I did. Steele wheels and 31s on mine and front brakes lock up easy.

A 2.3 will turn ANY tire, but it won't turn the larger ones very fast, especially with stock gearing.
