spark plug replacement 2.5L
Never done it yet but getting ready to replace spark plugs on my '98 2.5L Ranger. Was doing some reading about how tricky it can be getting at least a few if not all of the four plugs in/out from engine on driver side under intake. It was suggested that with a wobble extension it can be done without too much trouble. I don't have a wobble extension but do happen to have a universal swivel type socket extension and also a swivel spark plug socket, both shown here: http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps44163e1e.jpg
Any comment on whether these will do me much good for the task, or comments/tips otherwise on the job itself appreciated.

I just took off the intake and replaced the $5 gasket because my socket extensions were not working out. I just got so frustrated I said screw it and just took off the intake..so...In the long run that was easier in my opinion because everything was exposed, but some people don't recommend doing it the "hard" way. but whatever floats yer boat. Good luck you got a task ahead of ya.
