i just replaced the DPFE sensor and will replace my upstream o2 sensor if i can ever get it loose.. but i reset the computer after replacing the DPFE and shortly after starting to drive it i got the same P1401 code... i am not sure what to do at this point.. any help would be awesome..

hey i had the same issue. I replaced the dpfe and its still that code. I noticed Ihave moisture int the lines and I am a bit worried about that. did you ever resolve this?

 

I never did get it resolved I'm still getting the code but since it runs fine I haven't worried about it. I've been told I should replace the lines since I replaced the sensor because there might be the moisture there but since it runs fine I just haven't done it.

 

ok I just took my truck in this morning to the mechanic, not what i wanted to do but i need to get it smogged asap. I'll post the results. i hope its a vacuum leak

 

alright ....400 dollars later....i had a bunch of ----ed up electrical problems.
