Power steering conversion, 2.3L 97 Ranger
I'm weighing out the options of putting power steering in my truck; I'm getting a bit sick of the tough steering now that I'm driving it more.
The mixed info i'm getting is whether or not I need to replace the pitman arm with a power steering arm? I have read and seen that the manual arms are straight and the PS ones have a dip in them. The other thing is, is it even any big deal if it has to be changed since the whole assembly would likely have to come out anyway to mount the new steering box?
