Open loop fault

Truck runs and drives fine, but dies when you push in the clutch and let off the gas, shows open loop fault on scanner and have changed o-2 and checked everything else but cant figure it out and was wondering if someone could help

Your best bet is to use a scanner that you can read while it is running.

I did that and it said lean o-2's and I changed them, and it was sayin bad coolent temp sendin unit and iI changed that. But it dont say nothin else.

Have you checked for any vacuum leaks, is the IAC working????

What year and engine???

Its a 1995 with a 2.3l, would the iac make it run lean

IAC would not make it run lean but does control the idling. Do you have Air Conditioning, if so does the engine die at idle when you turn it on???

A vacuum leak would also make it run lean.
