Fault Code 211

Fault Code 211
I pulled my code this morning and got a continuous memory code : 211 Profile Ignition Pick-up circuit fault.
My truck is a 94 2.3l 5 speed. It starts and runs fine with no CEL. I cleared the code by disconnecting the battery.
I would like to know if anybody has suggestions as what caused this code...

Do you have a tachometer?
And does it work?
Profile Ignition Pick-up(PIP) is the tach signal sent to the engine computer(PCM), from the ICM(ignition control module) located on the front of the lower intake manifold
211 can be set if engine has ever stumbled, i.e. lower RPMs almost stalling but then recovered

Can't see it on a 1989 to 1994 2.3l Lima engine
Its behind the timing belt cover just above crankshaft belt gear
Engine can not start or run unless this sensor is OK
It does generate the PIP signal, but that goes to the ICM which uses it to time spark
The ICM then sends that PIP signal to the computer, to time injectors, code 211 references PIP signal between ICM and computer

You need a tool to position the crank sensor correctly, it usually comes with the sensor

If it comes with the red positioner then it should be OK to use, but there is alot of disassembly required to change it so not sure if I would go with non-Motorcraft part for this one
Engine will not start and run if this sensor is bad, so if your engine starts then the crank sensor is NOT bad
