Crazy Ranger Sensors

Hey guys,
Ive been trying to hunt down a possible wiring problem with 95 Ranger. It keeps giving me a CEL code for the mass air flow sensor and the camshaft position sensor. It has also given me codes for running rich and evap pressures being off but those are intermittent. Also the tachometer doesn't work.

My main issue right now is that when i unplug the battery the sensors seem to work the MAF shows voltage readings on scanner and the tach works and the truck runs smooth. Then after running a bit the tach stops working and i get the cel for the MAF and the CPS. I bought a new battery thinking that the old one was only good enough to turn the truck on but messed with the sensor readings.

any ideas of what to look at would be of great help and much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

Need the exact codes to help
There are many MAF and CPS codes
Look here: http://www.therangerstation.com/how-...trouble_codes/

Never "Google" a single code number, look it up on a full list, codes are usually grouped together, that way you have the codes the computer DID NOT use, along with the code it did use, this will help you eliminate what it is NOT, leaving you with a better idea of what the problem IS

And after reset(battery unhooked) how long before CEL comes back on?

5min, 20min?
