this is some videos of a big whole right above my oil drain plug. To be honest not sure if that’s the oil pan or actual engine. But I’m asking for some advice to see what my best option is? New motor? And if is is only the 2.3lima compatible with my transmission. I have a 95 ford ranger xlt rwd. My last option is getting a new car . I love this build and it’s kinda not done yet.

Nice looking Truck!
Yeah you put a window in the oil pan. You can see where a connecting rod should be but isn't!! You may not need a full rebuild but won't know until the engine is out and taken apart to see what all happened.
