That could be the reason. I'm running on 31". She sure looks nice but if it's going to afect MPGs that much I'd rather sacrifice apearance. Thanks.

x2 take it to autozone and they will read the code for you. Even if it flashes on and off. It will still have the code.

I think MPGs are technical information to COMPARE diferent vehicles in diferent situations.
"MPT" (miles per tank) in the other hand is THE DAILY REALITY.It's a more accurate data that reveals how much it hurts your pockets just by having some extra horse power. i.e. I fill-up my Ranger twice a month, against 3 to 4 times a month for my previous 4.0L Cherokee (nice car by the way)

I have 16.5 gallon tank, I think. something like that anyway. I'm lazy, so I let the gas run down to almost empty all the time before I fill it up. I usually get between 250 miles or so, give or take, which computes to be about 15-17 mpg. And that's with a 4.0 stock. So, yea, I'd say ur gas mileage is a little low.

Good info. Thanks. I also have the 16.5gallon tank with a 2.5. I bought it with the 31" tires, so I just know she should be doing better because tech data says I should be getting 22-27.
