1996 Ranger 2.3L Exaust

own a 1996 Ford Ranger with a 2.3L Automatic tranny...thinking about getting an exaust system put on my truck.i have stock exaust still on it right now..i'm wanting to get the stainlesssteel dual tips dual exaust put on it. I'm stuck on what muffler to get put on...i have 2 brand new Flowmaster Super 40 series Delta Flow that are just sitting here...but i have a friend that told me that a Borla exaust would sound really good...i'm just looking for some advice on which one I should have put on without my truck sounding like a "rice burner" and i dont want it to sound like it has glasspakcs either...i'm looking for something with a deep rumble to it. let me know if you have some ideas as to what i'm looking for. thanks

yea..you aint kidding....i'll have to sell my two flowmasters and buy the double outlet on the other flowmaster..the ones I have only have a single inlet and single outlet. by the way Zach..your truck looks pretty good...you got the stuff i'm wanting on mine..the scoop on the hood and the alcoa wheels and the bar up on the front..i'm stuck deciding on getting one like yours or getting the bull bar. I guess which ever one i get for a cheaper price..lol.

my bar is only $80... and they don't make bull bars for 93-97 trucks and yes that exhaust clip is MY truck... 40 flow duals with 18" 3" rolled stainless tips.. thanks for the compliment..

really? i'v never done any research on what year models they made bull bars..but i guess that would be why I've never seen any listed to 93-97..i'v been looking around here on ranger-forums and on craigslist to see if i could find anything..but guess thats why...and your truck is a 93 right? Mine is a 1996 but same exact engine i believe. so if i got my exaust like that it should sound similar

no SI.SO I already had the muffler for like 7 months before i got the dual rear.. it was dumped under the cab.. so i just had the guy run a pipe over the axle like normal then Y it off and go dual out the back.. just take it to a good muffler shop they know what there doing..
