turbo's BL and MINI MEET (56k impossible)bed
Well brian (turbo) came up from FL, to do his BL and we got him all done and squared away. Dustin came over from from georgia and was a huge help and amanda came down from Tenn to well, supervise...lol!!! I buffed out brians headlights and amanda's and woulda done dustin's if he had taken off his brush guard. AND there's several funny stories and one in particular about wal-mart i'll tell later in this thread. Anyways got all that done and my ohc and expo mirror, which im still workin on, that's another story....lol!!!! But all in all had a very productive and FUN weekend!!!! AND ONE MORE THING!!! Im gonna say this because i feel its very important to point out to everyone. I know a lot of silly things are said to another on here but always remeber that person you MAY need help from one day. Like today i was havin trouble on my OHC install and called stone, justin, trent, and dustin tonight and finally got the answer i needed!!! That was sooooooo awsome to have those good connections to help me along, You **** someone off and you wont get it from some....just FYI!!! LOL
Anyways heres the pics

after......
All done and cleaned up!
and dustin gettin trouble with the supervisor...LOL!!
I'll start another thread on my OHC install that brian helped me with i just wanted to dedicate this one to him!!

That's true. I'm not gonna give you to much of a hard time cause you had a good reason.
Dustin really does need some help. I guess that blow to the head with the football really messed him up.

Thanks for all the kudos, folks!
I must say, none of it would have been possible without the friends I have made on this forum.
Josh is an awesome host, a willing and capable mechanic in his own right, and an all-around great guy -- and his mom knows how to grill, too!! ;-)
Dustin may not be wide receiver material, nor headed anywhere near the NFL... but you won't find a more capable and willing mechanic... he showed up, made introductions, and went straight to work.
Steven is a great assistant (takes direction pretty well, for a young'un!) and would make a capable taxi driver as well ;-) (thanks for the transport, mid-project, to and from the motel, bud!!)
Amanda is a wonderful supervisor -- just the right amount of fun and hijinx, but knows how to crack the whip when necessary. I should also point out that she's more than willing and able to pitch in with the manual labor, as well. I'm told she makes a mean dessert, but cannot comment first-hand (because Josh "forgot" to share!!)
Mike -- you're forgiven for not chippin' in on the heavy lifting -- you DID have a good reason, and I'm glad everything turned out for the best -- it was great meeting you, and I'm looking forward to seeing the pics from our short outing into the mud!
okay, Josh... time for the stories, I guess.. go ahead and tell them the one about how I instructed you on the fine art of negotiation and retailer manipulation ("damn yankee" northern-style, with a slight (somewhat mimicked, but excellently delivered!) southern good ol' boy charm!
robert -- those are 31s

Sorry steven...lol oops!! Well if it weren't for dustin, amanda, and steven being there it wouldn'a gotten done when it did. Me and brian had about 3hrs or runnin around to do, between swappin tires on rims pickin up bolts, impact because my crapped out, ect, ect. SOOOOO dustin brings his 31x10.5x15's and selles them to brian for $125. The tires are still NEW 4k or so on them. So we go to swap them out and i noticed a bubble on one of the side walls. So on the way BACK to the garage i told brian i was goin to go buy him a new tire because i couldn't, and wouldn't let him drive home on that, and then dustin tried sellin the tires for like a $1 after that and brian woudln't let him...lol! anyways we go to wal-mart, pull in and talk to the lady, and i say "hey, this is my buddy from tallahassee and he JUST got these tires there and i noticed a bubble in the side wall. she asked if he had road hazard and he said no. then she said well you have to pay for new one and i said well if we do we do, but that's not road hazard thats, MANF defect, then brain says well thats fine if we have to buy another tire, but it'll be the last tire i buy from wal-mart, and then the mangr step's in, and is like what's the prob. We explain the above and he say if you pay $10 for the road hazard on new tire he'll replace it.....LOL so brian goes if i pay $10 you'll give me a new tire? So he got a brand new $110 tire for $10!!!! HAHAHAHAHA it was great!!
