Rockwells and other goodies came in today!

Well I guess I'll let the secret out of the bag -- Me and a friend of mine picked this up today in Columbia at Ft. Jackson..

its a "Duece and a half" 2.5 ton military truck -- 1967 Kaiser Jeep m35a2 6x6. Has a 6 cylinder turbo diesel built in 91, the engine is CLEAN..motor as 900 miles on it. Tires still have the **** on them its perfect! Little cab rust but that can be fixed..ordered new springs for it to lift it bout 4" so I can fit the 53s that were in the other thread..enough of the talk here is the beast!

this is how we got it off Ft. Jackson -- you couldnt drive it off we had to tow...

13,000 lbs. winch!

cant beat it tho for the price -- 1900 bucks, divorced tcase, diesel, rockwells built geared already..

what we are going to do is bob it..aka remove rear axle, make it a normal 4x4 on the 53s, flat black the whole thing probably fix rust add horns, air lines for quick disconnect...

somethign like this

Very cool man! Deuces are so much fun.

Be sure to add new seats, or something. The passenger seat in those things is harsh! I spent a week wheeling in one of those things a couple years ago (passenger) and had a blast.

900 miles? Those engines are rated in hours, so its probably 900 hours. Because its a 91 i can garrentee it has more than 900 miles on it lol. I want to get one so0o0o bad the Kaiser whistler turbo diesels are sick! plus its 6x6!
