New Pro Comp black steelies FINALLY ON! I'm In Love...

well guys, I think I waited almost 2 months for these rims to arrive and get installed.. and finally it's been done.. it completely changed the overall look of my truck... makes it look obviously much wider.. and bigger, and just.. meaner.. I love my new stance lol.. goin from stock 16x7.5(?) with 4.75(?) BS, to 16x10 with 4 BS... Love it.. ok so here's a couple before and after comparo shots in similar angles... then just some good whoring action.

Will probably be addin more pics and takin better ones on sunday sometime in the evening maybe.. if Im home from cottage country early enough so I have light.. or Ill take more up north.
So, question is.... do I leave the tool box as is, or should I eventually bed liner it, or powder coat it.. do somethin to make it black??? Opinions, Leave it, or black it?? Thanks all

HAHA, your flared photos don't really express the true stance... they stick out more than I expected they would with the flares on the fenders... Can't even imagine taking them off... If there wasn't any law enforcing keeping tires in the wheel well and all that jazz, I probably would take the flares off to give it an even wider appearance.. but no, I get enough people staring at me now as it is. Before some people glanced at my truck when I went by, some people looked at the tires when i was at a stand still.. But when people see that front end comin toward them they just stare haha.

Yea...I think i kinda forget how those '06+ flares are....they wrap up close to the body where as mine get thick as the bottoms. Plus, I think the overall width of the front bumper is actually narrower than mine. Those two things make the tires appear farther out from the truck compared to mine.

Looks good!

Do you have 285's? If so, did they fit okay on the stock 7" wheels?

285's are fine for 7" rim.....but it's pushin' it. He doesn't have 285s...he has 12.50's. Check out his sig.

10" wheels just make anything look 10x better in my opinion. I love the look of a truck with the tires sticking out the side.

tires that stick out past the fenders look "4Wheel gangsta" like what the Inner city kids from the '80's did. they took compact cars and would extend the axels so the tires would be about a foot past the fender. Then, the axel would start to sag, making the tires "bow outward" looking stupid.

Looks really good, way better. They probably stick out as far as mine do, or maybe a little less, its kinda heard to tell. Wait till you drive in the rain now, water shoots straight up at like eye level all the time lol.
