Looks REAL good, Josh! At least the flares cover up the cancer from showing, but it still sucks....

Looking good Josh. I feel your pain on the passenger door. Have the same problem on the bottom but that makes a good project for the summer. Also have rust forming on the bottom of the tailgate.

Mich. cancer looks just like New York cancer, what I did was sand down all the seams and seal it with rust away stuff then dab (for a rough texture) with Herculiner Do it all for like $40

I'm liking the flares man, truck looks good. The rust is killing my truck too - cab corners, tailgate, door...it is all starting to go down hill. As soon as I'm out of school this summer it's time for a nice Level II.

That black piece is a double sided adhesive that holds the flares on, Its so I didn't have to drill into the fenders. Thats how Sea-Bass put his flares on but his truck is darker so you can't tell.

I did not fix the rust. Im just gonna get a whole new bedside put on.

I'd rather replace whole bedside. My filler neck area is starting to rust up real bad now to.

replacing an entire bedside is soooo much easier than those patch panels....i mean hell...it's a BED! meaning long sheets of thin thin sheetmetal!! imagine welding all that and praying for no warping....
