my HDR attempt...

using Photomatix pro3 and an artistic approach... I really want to see how it would look with all gray tones... I'm actually getting over something like the flu so I was lazy and shot these in the backyard...

HDR = High dynamic range

Not really sure what it does but looks nice

its a blend of 3 different exposures (high,normal,low) or light,normal,and dark

i hear ya about the flu. they think that i have mono, i've been feeling like crap the last couple days..

dang, I hope I don't have that, the doc ran a strep test said it came up negative, but I feel like crap...tomorrow I gotta go to dealer and get an oil change and get some stuff replaced under warranty, getting close to 32,000 gotta get that stuff fixed!!!

the truck looks really good in the first one, you can really see the blending in the valance. when you get better find a background with lots of texture and shadows and it will really make the truck pop

Looks good, I'd try to find somewhere with more colors next time tho instead of just blue. IMO HDR's taken on overcast days look best also.

to do it your going to need Photomatix Pro3 it cost ~$90

There is also a free to try photoshop plugin that will do pretty similar stuff to any picture, all you have to do is crop out the watermark it leaves when you dont buy it.
