My Big Ford Excursion
#77
AS far as the interior, I am thinking about dark brown leather and gold piping would look cool...but not set in stone.
As far as lifting a truck has a functional purpose...not for me, all street driving and my garage isnt tall enough to accomadate a lifted truck...but I like lifted trucks...
So here are some inside pics of the front suspension....thanks for all the comments
More had to be cut..
This will be at full lift....

Just to play devil's advocate, if you wanted a lowrider family car why not get a caprice classic?
Just about everything you are doing has 'been done', however your are doing it because you like it and its a new challenge for you. Not because its the most functional or rational choice.

I agree on the fords. So nobody has laid frame on 26s? Or just in an Excursion? And are you aiming at getting in a publication or what is the end goal? I am obviously not very educated in the world of lowriders. Is that the goal with these projects is to be the first in some fashion?

Yes my Excursion will be the 1st to lay body on this big of a tire/wheel combo, but if you take a look at my Ranger build, its not a big deal to me to be 1st but to have a truck I am going to be happy with.
Everything in the world that is done 1st is always a big deal, no matter what the subject.....so yes....
My goal is to have it in a magazine, yes, but I also like to cruise in something that noone else has, so thats why I am doing what I'm doing....
Thanks for the interest, even though its not your thing...

It gets enough lift to clear the fenders.
