I have a 1990 triple black GT ragtop, unfortuneatly it is #11 on a list of 10 things needing done. I love the later Fox bodies, I had a 1989 Florida Hwy Patrol supervisors car with 68K miles, it had a horrible engine vibration, so it sold at auction. I paid $1500.00 for the car in 1995, towed it home, replaced the harmonic balancer that was missing the outer ring and put a new friction disc in clutch (it was chattering from a broken spring) then drove it for a year before selling it to buy a ranger. I cannot believe the mechanics the state has working for them missed this easy stuff!

1993 LX 5.0 HO Notchback: Completely stock engine....for now! Picked up the car locally on Saturday. The car came with the wheels and tires that are brand new, 5 lug conversion, 4-wheel disc brakes, 40 series Flows. Finally was able to clean it up good in and out today along with the engine compartment. And changed the oil, air filter, cleaned throttle body, and siphoned both power steering and brake fluid and replaced it with new today.
Mods to come: wet sand hood, rood, and trunk lid b/c of bad waterspotting, then buff the snot out of it. I plan on putting GT40 heads, intake, new ignition and plugs, 70mm throttle body, and cam.
Pics! I don't know why but my camera pics up the color of the car weird at different angles lol. I assure you it is all the same color.

Thanks man! It def needs some TLC. But it is so addicting. I want to drive it all of the time lol. It needs a new heater core, a new radio, and a recharged compressor, but other than that, absolutely no problems. Even with the stock motor, it is a speeding ticket waiting to happen. It's so smooth, you look down and out of no where and I am already going like 65 in a 45 on light throttle. It took a longgg time to find this car. Countless hours looking at craigslist and ebay till finally this one showed up right under my nose after about 4-5 months of looking lol. The foxes are def worth the wait man! Definitely my favorite style Mustang IMO.
I hope to put it up on the high lift in the end of the week and spray down the undercarriage real nicely and shine it up. When all the mods are done, it will be a definite rice killer lol.

Lol, I doubt this thing will be sold for long time!
But I would have to agree, the notchbacks are my favorite too. The hatchbacks are alright, but I just like the lines and looks of a notchback a lot better.
You have owned three? Haha crap, why did you not keep one? However I love your truck man! 5.0's in Rangers=great success!
